In the “Search” box, type in author, title, subject or keywords. Click on corresponding blue button below. If you want to do a browse search, see instructions below.

If your search has been successful; you will get a list of search results that match your search.** They will usually be in chronological order, meaning that the ones at the top of the list are the newest books. Click on the blue “Details” box to the left of the entry. A full screen for that item will appear. The call number displays on the left hand side, under the heading “Holdings.” Remember, a call “number” may contain only letters as is the case with fiction titles.

If you prefer to do a browse search to produce an alphabetical list of titles, authors, subjects, etc, first click on the words “Advanced Search”, located at the bottom of the “Quick Search” box. Then click on the words “Browse Catalog” on the right hand of the screen, under the words “Catalog Searches.” Enter your search item in the “browse on” box and click one of the dark blue buttons below to perform the type of search you wish to do.

To move back to a previous screen, click on the words “GoBack” near the left hand side of the screen. This works better than using your browser’s back button. To begin a new search, click on the words “Quick Search” above the “Go Back” button.
